Key Responsibilities:
- Test and troubleshoot electronic products to component and sub-assembly level utilizing schematics and standard procedures
- Ability to read drawings and schematics
- Set up test equipment and follow test procedures
- Use test and measurement equipment including voltmeter, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meter, IR meter, power supplies, milliohm meter, LCR, and other automatic and standard test equipment
- Provide technical assistance to assemblers
- Recommends process improvements if necessary
- Utilizes written or visual instructions as needed
- Provides written and/or oral communication in reference to test and troubleshooting findings
- Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner
- Compliance with Quality Management System procedures
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in the electronic/electrical industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree desirable
- Power conversion/power supply experience desirable
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and/or diagrams
- Safety driven individual
- Experience with Analog and Digital power circuits
- Self- starter with excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Some travel required. Domestic and International
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time while performing a multitude of tests
- Bending and kneeling to wire power equipment
- Ability to carry approximately 35lbs of tools
Compensation Information
Base Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 USD (Hourly)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to offer, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
