Role: SEN Teacher (able to deliver maths and science lessons)
Salary: up to £43,194 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Contract: permanent
Hours: full time (core hours 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)

Role start date: between October 2026 January 2027 We are excited to announce that Esland will be opening a new SEN school in Doncaster in September 2026. This is an exciting and fantastic opportunity to be part of a new, specialist provision supporting vulnerable young people aged 7 to 18 years who have SEND and SEMH needs.
Pupils are encouraged to cover a range of qualifications ranging from Entry Level Certificates, through Functional Skills to GCSE.

We will be looking to recruit a staff team that has a multitude of talents to enable us to provide a rich academic curriculum from the outset and look forward to hearing what additional skills, talents and interests you could bring to this role.
- Qualified Teacher status
- Sound curriculum knowledge surrounding mathematics and science (ideally across several key stages)
- Proven experience of working with specialist education for young people
- Proven experience of working with young people that challenge
- A committed, conscientious and passionate approach to inclusion
- The ability to plan, evaluate and monitor learning and progress
- The ability to build good relationships with young people and staff members alike
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use time effectively
- A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations
