Business Development Manager – Professional Services (Remote)

<div><strong>Position Summary</strong></div><div><br>We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to expand Esprow’s pprofessional services business within the global capital markets industry.<br><br>This role focuses on developing client engagements related to API and protocol testing, matching engines and trading system validation, certification, and integration support for electronic trading environments.

These services are delivered using Esprow’s technology platform and the expertise of our engineering team.<br><br>You will work with exchanges, banks, and brokers to help them address complex testing, certification, and integration challenges within their trading infrastructure.<br><br>The role combines proactive business development with consultative engagement development — sourcing and identifying opportunities, shaping service proposals, and working closely with internal teams to structure and deliver successful client projects.<br><br>Success in this position requires a strong understanding of capital markets technology, particularly an understanding of the demand for such service, how to source them, the competitive landscape, a consultative sales mindset, and the ability to navigate complex technical and organizational environments within large financial institutions.<br><br><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></div><div><br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Identify and develop new opportunities for Esprow’s professional services, including API testing, trading system validation, certification, and integration support.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through industry relationships, targeted outreach, and participation in relevant industry events.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Manage the full lifecycle of services engagements — from early opportunity identification and client discovery through proposal development, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Work closely with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to shape and scope consulting engagements, define project approach, and prepare commercial proposals.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Develop trusted relationships with technology leaders, trading infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders within financial institutions.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Support the positioning and evolution of Esprow’s services offerings based on client needs and market developments.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Represent Esprow in client discussions, workshops, and industry events related to trading infrastructure, APIs, and testing frameworks.<br><br><strong>Position Requirements</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>8–12+ years of experience in business development, consulting sales, or professional services sales within financial technology or capital markets.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Proven experience working with exchanges, banks, and brokers, or other capital markets institutions.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Experience selling or delivering technical consulting, system integration, or testing-related services.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Familiarity with electronic trading environments, APIs, connectivity protocols, or trading system architecture.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Ability to lead consultative sales conversations and translate technical requirements into structured service engagements.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Excellent attention to detail in written communication and commercial proposals.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Strong organizational and opportunity management skills.<br><br><strong>Bonus Skills (optional, but would be a plus)</strong></div><div><br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Knowledge of the FIX Protocol and experience working with FIX-based trading environments.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Experience with exchange certification testing or trading system onboarding projects.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">    </span>Familiarity with API testing tools, messaging protocols, or automated testing frameworks.<br>-<span style="white-space:pre;">
