SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:
The IAM Project Manager and Scrum Master role is part of GSC Information Security - Identity and Access Management, responsible for leading IAM initiatives through effective project management, Agile delivery, governance, audit coordination, and change management. Drive stakeholder alignment, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the IAM portfolio while ensuring predictable and secure delivery of IAM services.
ROLE & OBJECTIVES
The role ensures disciplined, transparent, and compliant delivery of IAM products, services, and strategic initiatives across global, cross-functional environments.
Project coordination and Management: Lead IAM deployment, transition, transformation, and migration initiatives across IAM portfolio of services such as Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM), Federated Authentication Management Solution (FAMS), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Eurofins Access Rights Management (EARM), and Secure Remote Access (SRA). Partner with IAM leadership to plan, estimate, prioritize, and sequence strategic initiatives. Coordinate with various crews like IT Infrastructure, IT Solutions, IT Security, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery teams, and business stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes. Own end-to-end project execution across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, using the methodology and tools appropriate to each initiative. Develop and maintain integrated project deployment documentation such as Project plan, scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, issues, and deliverables. Proactively manage risks, issues, conflicting priorities, and cross-team dependencies, driving mitigation and resolution to closure.
Agile and Scrum Facilitation: Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective adoption of Scrum practices in the team. Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and support predictable delivery outcomes. Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, roles, and continuous improvement. Drive collaboration, transparency, and alignment across Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery teams, and stakeholders. Improve team performance, delivery effectiveness, and product quality through retrospectives and delivery metrics. Continuously enhance Agile delivery processes and provide actionable reporting to support decision-making.
Process Governance, Change & Release Management: Establish, govern, and continuously improve IAM processes, standards, operational controls, and governance frameworks across all IAM services. Lead and coordinate Change Management activities to ensure changes are planned, assessed, communicated, approved, implemented, and reviewed in accordance with established governance requirements. Drive and oversee Release Management processes to ensure the successful planning, coordination, deployment, and validation of releases across IAM products and services. Promote standardization and harmonization of processes, procedures, documentation, and ways of working across IAM teams to improve consistency, efficiency, and service quality. Champion process optimization, continuous improvement, and best-practice adoption to increase service maturity, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
Audit, Compliance, and Risk: Act as the primary coordination point for IAM-related internal and external audits, working with the Security Certifications crew on scope, timelines, and compliance requirements. Ensure IAM processes, controls, project deliverables, and documentation comply with applicable internal policies, security standards, and certification frameworks. Convert audit-driven requirements into scoped and prioritized delivery items in collaboration with the Product Owner and relevant stakeholders. Track audit findings, observations, risks, remediation actions, and supporting evidence through validated closure. Monitor process deviations and reinforce corrective actions and adherence to IAM policies and procedures.
Governance, Reporting, and Improvement: Prepare concise management reports and executive-level presentations to support governance, transparency, and decision-making. Maintain compliance and reporting documentation as per requirements. Build strong working relationships with global teams implementing or using IAM services. Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, lessons learned, and optimization of delivery and governance processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
8-12 years of experience in project coordination/management, Agile delivery, Scrum facilitation, and/or ITIL within complex enterprise or global environments.
Demonstrated experience managing deployment, integration, transition, transformation, or migration initiatives across the full project lifecycle.
Strong project planning, execution, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including management of multiple priorities and senior stakeholders.
Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and a sound understanding of Agile principles, backlog management, sprint metrics, and continuous improvement.
Hands-on understanding of IT change/release-management processes, including CAB governance, implementation, emergency changes, and rollback planning.
Basic understanding of audits, risks, compliance practices and frameworks or comparable standards. Ability to understand end-to-end dependencies, manage ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership through closure.
Preferred: Basic understanding of IAM principles, processes, and technologies, including identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access management, RBAC/ABAC models, and enterprise IAM solutions such as PAM, ILM, FAMS, EARM, SRA, or equivalent platforms. Proficiency with project and work-management tools such as Microsoft Project and Agile backlog/reporting tools. Relevant certifications or training such as PMP or PRINCE2, CSM or PSM, ITIL Foundation or Intermediate. People-management or team-leadership experience.
