    Job description

Our team has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to manage materials testing and analytical service projects for customers across industries including semiconductor, aerospace & defense, and medical device.

The ideal candidate brings an advanced degree in science or engineering, 2+ years of relevant industry experience, and experience working with customers on technical challenges involving materials, analytical testing, failure analysis, or related areas.

This is a customer-facing role that combines technical knowledge, project management, and problem-solving. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating with scientists, engineers, Sales, Project Coordinators, Operations, and partner laboratories to keep projects moving from initial scope through final delivery.

You will help define project requirements, coordinate technical resources, monitor schedules, review and interpret analytical data, and make sure results clearly address the customer’s original objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage customer projects from initial scope through final reporting and follow-up.
    • Partner with Sales and technical teams to define project scope, deliverables, testing requirements, and timelines.
    • Coordinate internal technical resources, service lines, sites, and external partner labs to keep projects on schedule.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the project.
    • Communicate with customers to:
      • Clarify technical needs and project objectives.
      • Provide project status updates.
      • Review results and explain technical findings.
      • Discuss potential next steps or additional testing when appropriate.
    • Coordinate with Project Coordinators to manage sample flow and project activities across multiple laboratories and service lines.
    • Review and interpret analytical data for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
    • Prepare clear, consolidated customer reports or presentations that summarize results and connect findings back to the original problem.
    • Manage multiple customer projects at the same time while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
    • Work closely with technical and commercial teams to resolve project issues and meet customer expectations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project lifecycle.
    • Support customer visits and business development activities with Sales and Operations as needed.

      WHY THIS ROLE?

If you enjoy the combination of science, customer interaction, and project execution, this role gives you an opportunity to work on real technical challenges across a variety of industries.

At Eurofins EAG Laboratories, you will work alongside scientists and engineers with deep technical expertise and access to advanced analytical capabilities. Rather than focusing on one product or technology, you will support customers working through different materials, devices, and technical challenges.

      • Own your projects: Manage customer projects from scope through final delivery.
      • Stay close to the science: Use your technical background to understand customer problems, interpret results, and communicate what the data means.
      • Build customer relationships: Become a trusted point of contact by keeping projects moving and communicating clearly.
      • Work across technologies: Support customers and projects across multiple industries, materials, and analytical techniques.
      • Collaborate with technical experts: Work closely with scientists, engineers, Sales, Operations, and Project Coordinators to solve customer problems.
      • Continue to grow: Build broader technical knowledge while developing your customer-facing and project management skills.

We're looking for more than someone who can track schedules and tasks. We're looking for a technically minded project manager who can understand the customer's problem, coordinate the right resources, communicate technical information clearly, and take ownership of getting the project across the finish line.
