Job Summary:

Engaging Bilingual Japanese Psychologist (PhD)s to contribute expertise to an innovative customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Analyze and assess psychological case studies and documentation, providing nuanced feedback and insights based on professional experience.
2. Develop culturally sensitive psychological scenarios and materials in both Japanese and English for data enrichment and model training purposes.
3. Evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, ethical considerations, and alignment with psychological best practices.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to share perspectives and ensure holistic, effective solutions for diverse user needs.
5. Document evaluation processes and findings clearly and systematically, supporting transparency and reproducibility.
6. Apply bilingual communication to interpret and refine psychological assessments, ensuring fidelity across languages and cultural contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

1. PhD in Psychology with demonstrated experience in both clinical and academic settings.
2. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English, with proven ability to navigate complex psychological terminology in both languages.
3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of ethical decision-making.
4. Experience developing or evaluating case studies and psychological assessments.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating nuanced psychological concepts between Japanese and English.
6. Familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration and effective documentation.
7. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability in multicultural environments.
