    Job description

Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

    The Role

Everpure Data Intelligence (formerly 1touch.io) enables enterprises to discover, classify, and contextualize data across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments, improving AI accuracy, building trust in AI outcomes, reducing risk, and delivering measurable business impact.

The Consulting Systems Engineer on our data management team provides strategic and tactical pre-sales leadership to support the sales organization. This role is responsible for delivering technical expertise throughout the customer journey, including technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concept execution, solution design, partner enablement, and technical validation.

The ideal candidate combines deep data management expertise with strong business acumen and executive presence. They are comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging technical and business stakeholders, and translating customer challenges into innovative solutions.

This role partners cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Customer Success, Leadership, Account Executives, Account Managers, specialists, and channel partners to ensure alignment between market needs, customer outcomes, and product direction.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Serve as a technical advisor and trusted partner to enterprise customers, prospects, and channel partners throughout the sales process.
    • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business drivers, security challenges, compliance requirements, and decision-making processes.
    • Architect and deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, executive briefings, and presentations tailored to use cases aligned with customers’ business desired outcomes.
    • Design, deploy, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, ensuring successful technical validation, measurable business value, and customer adoption.
    • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop technical sales strategies and support complex enterprise sales cycles.
    • Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes, including technical validation, competitive positioning, and TCO considerations.
    • Contribute significant portions of, and/or lead, responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
    • Deliver partner enablement and technical training to resellers, integrators, and strategic alliances.
    • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, webinars, trade shows, and executive briefing center engagements.

Maintain deep awareness of market trends, competitive technologies, and evolving industry landscapes to ensure differentiated solution positioning and promote thought leadership internally and externally.

    What You'll Need to Bring

    General Experience

    • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline, and/or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or related customer-facing technical roles, with expertise in leading technical sales motions.
    • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical architectures to both technical and executive audiences.

    Infrastructure

    • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, design, and implementation across multi-tiered client/server, distributed, web-based, cloud, and hybrid computing solutions.
    • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware.
    • Familiarity with modern web and cloud-native architectures, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up, microservices, containers, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with scripting and automation technologies, including Python.

    Data & Application Security

      • Experience with data discovery, classification, DSPM, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, governance, privacy, and compliance solutions.
      • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, structured databases, cloud-native databases, and storage-intensive applications.
      • Strong experience and knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, governance, privacy, risk management, and security operations concepts.
