Performs a broad range of accounting functions to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records. Ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and supports the timely preparation of financial reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA working knowledge of accounting practices at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or related field, or equivalent experience; and
A minimum of three years’ experience in financial management, general accounting, or equivalent combinations of training and experience.
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), standard accounting procedures, Company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis, exercise sound judgment, and resolve complex accounting and financial issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and record journal entries; maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules; and ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and timely.
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, perform account analyses, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
Assist with SEC reporting requirements, including the preparation of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other public company filings, as assigned.
Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies, U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal control standards; maintain supporting documentation and accounting procedures.
Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, analyses, and other required documentation.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, accounting system enhancements, process improvements, special projects, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
