Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Equipment Support team member to help maintain the integrity, functionality, and performance of gaming equipment within our studio. In this hands-on role, you will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment servicing to ensure all game-related machinery operates efficiently and meets regulatory and operational standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests while supporting daily studio operations.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools and basic computer systems, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work collaboratively with various departments to uphold game integrity, enhance the player experience, and support the continued success of studio operations. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, consumable management, issue resolution, documentation, and assisting with additional operational needs as required.
Responsibilities:
- Keep detailed records of all actions for daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and ad-hoc tasks
- Communicate any abnormalities or potential integrity issues to direct manager
- Perform routine checks on machinery to ensure functionality and positive user experience
- On an occasional basis these following tasks will be required: handling game consumable shipments, weekly cleaning of game shows, plastic equipment handling: scanner frames, shoes, discard holders, etc
- Carry out any ad-hoc duties instructed by your direct manager that meet the needs of business
- Complete daily checks on all game consumables ensuring integrity and usable condition
- Complete daily inventory logs
- Respond to maintenance request tickets for service and document services in detail
- Regularly exchange, maintenance and cleaning of shuffler and card counting machines
- Exchange potentially broken parts with new ones and test functionality of various devices by using different software (putty, DPC tester, etc)
- Perform various services to roulette tables such as: Wheel rotation, wheel swap, wheel level, correction/releveling/calibration, replacement of changing nano pollers, setup of COM ports
- Investigate reports of improperly functioning machinery and resolve issues
- Perform regular changes of all game consumables in play at various intervals including, daily, weekly, monthly and a required in regulatory framework
- Alert direct manager of all irregularities that may be cause for suspicion or violation of game integrity
Qualification Requirements:
- Basic level of computer skills
- High sense of responsibility
- Attentiveness to details and record keeping
- Ability to work shifts
- Ability to accurately fulfil the direct management orders and work tasks
- Complete daily routine balancing specific timelines and unscheduled requests without supervision
- Functional multi-tasker without sacrificing quality of work
- Have team spirit and collaborate with other departments to align in studio goals
- Preferred knowledge of ticket systems and cloud storage software e.g. SharePoint, Jira, One Drive
- Handy with common tools
