Role Overview
Candidates for the Substation Construction Supervisor role will be expected to have a strong background in utility Construction. Particularly related to power transmission and distribution in order to perform the following tasks including, but not limited to:
- Provide direct oversight of construction activities throughout all phases of the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and industry standards.
- Perform daily site inspections and safety observations, documenting project progress, key milestones, and generating detailed reports.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and engineering personnel to support the successful execution and completion of projects.
- Responsible for identifying, documenting, and communicating field changes to project designs.
- Responsible for verifying that construction personnel utilize the correct materials in the appropriate locations in accordance with project requirements.
- Responsible for reviewing and addressing project discrepancies with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Responsible for maintaining routine communication with designated client representatives and providing regular project updates.
- Shall exercise all necessary precautions to safeguard the client's equipment, materials, and customers while serving as a professional representative of the client.
- Maintain strong communication with onsite personnel and promote compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software applications to support project reporting, tracking, and documentation efforts.
