Role Overview
Leading full cycle project management and project closeout activities Developing and managing project scope, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets/cashflow, and resource plans Monitoring project performance Managing project risks/issues, and change management processes Coordinating transmission line engineering and design activities, including routing, structure selection, foundations, conductor systems, and constructability reviews Ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards including NESC, ASCE, IEEE, utility requirements, and quality management procedures Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams including civil, electrical, geotechnical, environmental, and ROW professionals Supporting procurement activities including bid package development, vendor evaluations, and equipment sourcing Coordinating construction activities, utility outages, contractor efforts, inspections, and field execution Providing technical oversight and resolving field issues to ensure construction aligns with project requirements and design intent Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders Leading project communications, status reporting, client meetings, and stakeholder engagement Supporting business development efforts, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and marketing initiatives Approximately 80% office / 20% field work
