The Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Process Excellence & Digital Operations will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across multiple UK P&C Insurance clients. The role focuses on defining transformation strategy, driving operational excellence, scaling digital and automation capabilities, and delivering sustainable business value through process redesign, productivity improvement, and innovation. The AVP will partner with client executives and senior stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities, modernize service delivery models, and lead governance forums that accelerate business transformation.
This position requires a strong blend of UK P&C Insurance expertise, Lean Six Sigma leadership, transformation consulting, digital automation knowledge, and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will oversee multiple transformation portfolios, lead high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement culture, and support business growth through solutioning, consulting, and strategic client engagement.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
Experience
16-20 years of overall experience with senior leadership accountability in transformation, operational excellence, or digital operations.
3-5 years of UK P&C Insurance transformation experience.
Proven track record of leading large-scale business transformation and process re-engineering programs.
Experience managing multiple client transformation portfolios simultaneously.
Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in UK P&C Insurance operations and transformation.
Knowledge of automation technologies including UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Python, VBA, AutoHotkey, and Power Automate.
Executive stakeholder management and consulting-led transformation capability.
Strong business case development, financial modeling, governance, and change management skills.
Ability to influence senior executives and lead global, cross-functional teams.
