Agent/Lead Agent – Ocean Export

Summary Description

Assist the Supervisor/Department Head with all aspects of the department while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Customer Service
• Customer Retention
• Operation Handling
• Vendor Relations
• Assist with management of A/R and AJAX reports
• Procedure and Productivity Standards Adherence
• Accurate and Timely shipment processing & Billing
• Address and Resolve Exceptional report daily
• Other tasks as per job requirements and as being assigned by company

• At least 2 years of experience in Ocean/Logistics/Shipping/Freight Forwarding
• University/College graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Proactive with strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work extra hours as required.
• Well-organized, innovative, and self‑motivated.
• Able to work in a team, under high pressure and tight deadlines.
