About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Support professional to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for international freight forwarding activities.
This role will focus on monitoring operational inboxes, registering jobs, creating shipments and consoles in CargoWise, managing shipment documentation, and following up on operational requirements to ensure jobs are processed accurately and on time.
What You'll Do
- Monitor operational inboxes and register jobs from order level
- Review incoming shipment details and ensure information is complete and accurate
- Create shipments and consoles in CargoWise
- Handle e-DOCing and upload required shipment documents
- Follow up on EDOs, telex releases, customs holds, and other operational requirements
- Coordinate with relevant teams and stakeholders to obtain missing information or documents
- Update shipment records and systems with the latest information
- Maintain accurate and organized shipment documentation
- Monitor assigned jobs and follow up on outstanding operational requirements
- Support other forwarding and operations-related administrative tasks as needed
What You Need
- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or operations support
- Experience handling shipment documentation and operational processes
- Familiarity with CargoWise is preferred
- Understanding of common freight forwarding terms and processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written English communication skills
- Comfortable monitoring and managing a high volume of emails and tasks
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple jobs and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes
- Comfortable performing detail-oriented and repetitive operational tasks
Technical Requirements
- Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
- Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
- Quiet, conducive home workspace
- OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
- OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages
