    Job description

    NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB

    The Trainer will be responsible for designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training programs, including onboarding and continuous learning initiatives, to develop employee knowledge, skills, and performance in alignment with organizational goals.

    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

    • Conduct training needs assessments across different LOBS.
    • Design, develop, and update training materials, presentations, manuals, and SOPs.
    • Deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.
    • Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding programs.
    • Facilitate refresher training and continuous development initiatives.
    • Support leadership development and soft skills training where required.
    • Develop and maintain annual training calendars.
    • Schedule training sessions and coordinate venues, equipment, and logistics.
    • Maintain accurate employee training records and attendance.
    • Track mandatory certifications and renewal requirements.
    • Prepare training reports, dashboards, and completion statistics.
    • Ensure all training documentation is current and properly maintained.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, feedback, and performance metrics.
    • Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans.
    • Monitor employee competency following training.
    • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Operations to address performance trends through targeted training.
    • Ensure mandatory compliance training is completed on schedule.
    • Keep training materials aligned with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and training records.

    MINUNUM REQUIREMENTS

    • One or more years actively functioning in the FWS department.
    • Knowledge of DQ would be an asset.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
    • Flexibility and availability to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Ability to simplify complex concepts into easy-to-understand learning.
    • Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
    • Must be able to work on site.
