About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will oversee the movement of materials throughout the warehouse or production environment, supporting daily operations such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will help ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain equipment, and contribute to an organized and efficient workspace. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, reach lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move, load, and unload materials Transport raw materials, inventory, or finished goods to designated areas or workstations Read work orders or follow instructions to determine material handling needs Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or safety concerns Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working condition Stack, organize, and store inventory in proper locations Maintain inventory accuracy by labeling, tagging, and rotating stock as required Identify damaged goods, shortages, or quality issues and report accordingly Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Assist in maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, including waste disposal Observe equipment operation and assist with basic troubleshooting when needed Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management
