The Solutions Architect for Orange, Job Overview
F5 is looking for a Solutions Architect engaged with Orange as a global Telco and Service Provider: a senior pre-sales and technical leadership role within the EMEA Solution Architects sales organization.
Your primary function will be to own the technical vision for F5 across Orange Group and all Orange subsidiaries and business units (France, Spain, Poland, Belgium and Orange Middle East and Africa as per today, including Orange Business and Orange Cyberdefense), both for solutions adopted by Orange and Solutions positioned by Orange to their end customers, working in collaboration with the Account Management team to discover opportunities and identify the F5 solutions that best address Orange’s business needs.
Where a Solutions Engineer supports individual opportunities, as a Solutions Architect you are expected to embrace Orange from a broad perspective: understanding the group’s transformation agenda end to end (network, cloud, data centre, security and AI), building the multi-year architectural narrative that connects F5 to it, and orchestrating the technical resources required to execute it.
A fundamental part of your mission will be to become a trusted advisor to Orange and an evangelist for F5, internally and externally, via whitepapers, reference architectures, training, blogs, tech tips, workshops and speaking at industry and customer events. You will champion Orange’s requirements and ensure they are understood by other teams within F5, such as Marketing, Product Management and Product Engineering.
While Orange is your primary focus, the scope of this role could grow in the future. The reference architectures, assets and Service Provider expertise you build are expected to be reused across F5’s broader Strategic Account community, and your responsibilities may extend over time to other strategic accounts and to the wider F5 technology practice.
To truly excel in this role, we’re seeking a profile that not only possesses strong technical skills and a solid understanding of the Telco world and of how Application Delivery and Security technology drives innovation in the era of AI, but also shares our commitment to F5’s mission. Above all, a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning, adaptability, and staying ahead of evolving trends is essential. Familiarity with F5 products and the broader ecosystem is beneficial, but what matters most is your drive to embrace new challenges, expand your knowledge, and help us advance our mission.
