Office Admin

Purpose/Summary

The primary function of the Office Admin is to provide administrative support for plant operations so that plant operations run efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide clerical and administrative support for plant operations and all other support staff, including delivery signatures and greeting visitors and applicants.

Assist applicants with employment application process

Maintain office supply inventory

Troubleshoot bill payment issues and work with other departments to resolve in a timely and accurate manner

Process and code invoices as needed

Provide additional assistance to the Plant Manager, Production Manager and all office staff as needed

Inventory order entry and purchase requisition entry

Responsible for collection and distribution of received mail

Place lunch orders when required

Update Grainger as needed

Process uniform requests

Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

· Two (2) or more years of administrative experience

· High school diploma or GED

· Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy

· Ability to maintain confidential information

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Can read, understand and follow Work Instructions and company policies and procedures

· Basic math skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook or similar products

· Self-directed, able to work independently

· Strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to work in a plant and office environment.

· Move 25 lbs., work with a computer for extended periods of time.
