The company has achieved multiple industry firsts, including being the first to power a demonstration vehicle with a global OEM (Mercedes- Benz) which achieved over 1,200 km (749 mi) of range, and the first to earn UN 38.3 certification for automotive-sized lithium-metal solid-state cells, the first to deliver B-samples of automotive-sized solid-state batteries to major OEMs.

    The Opportunity:

Factorial Energy is seeking a General Affairs Specialist to join our team at our Cheonan, South Korea location. This is a two-year fixed-term contract position, with renewal or conversion subject to performance and business needs. This person will own the general affairs function end-to-end, covering office and dormitory administration, facility and vendor contracts, employee transportation and convenience services, benefits operations, and the interior setup of our new site. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can both oversee the function and personally execute the day-to-day work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

    • Lead office interior setup and fit-out for our new site
    • Manage facility-related contracts and administration, including office and dormitory leases, renovations, and furniture procurement
    • Manage dormitory operations and related services (rent, internet, cleaning, and other administrative matters)
    • Manage contracts and external vendors (cleaning, security, cafeteria, etc.)
    • Manage employee transportation and daily convenience services (e.g., business taxis, commute bus, corporate vehicles, meal tickets)
    • Manage corporate credit card purchasing and monthly closing
    • Purchase and manage inventory of office supplies and consumables
    • Operate and manage employee benefits programs
    • Support visa and relocation-related administration for employees relocating from overseas
    • Handle visitor reception and support company events and protocol
    • Establish and improve internal administrative processes
    • Support the establishment and management of company policies and regulations
    • Respond to and support employee inquiries related to general affairs
    • Collaborate and communicate with management and relevant departments

We are looking for people who:

    • Have 5+ years of experience in general affairs or a similar role
    • Bring a comprehensive understanding of general affairs operations with hands-on execution capability
    • Can both oversee the function and personally carry out day-to-day tasks
    • Have experience identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing automation where appropriate, and building scalable administrative systems
    • Are detail-oriented, responsible, and strong communicators
    • Are proficient in MS Office and other office software
    • Are fluent in Korean
    • Are fluent in English or Chinese (a plus)
    • Have experience in general affairs within a manufacturing or industrial facility environment (a plus)
    • Have experience working with foreign-invested companies or overseas partners/vendors (a plus)
