SUMMARY:
Engage students through the Book A Pizza Summer Reading Program to encourage them to read and build a love of reading. Read to and engage students participating in the program at sites throughout Ravenna, OH Listen and be a captive audience to students reading back to volunteer readers, providing encouragement and age-appropriate interaction. Represent the agency/program to the public in a positive and energetic manner.
Collect and record participant information and complete all required documentation. Provide regular and consistent coverage for assignments scheduled. Follow policies and procedures that maintain the safety and confidentiality of student participants. Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
