    Job description

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations and administering core HR functions. This position ensures accurate, regulatory compliance, and effective employee lifecycle management. The role requires a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across HR functions.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings and interview scheduling
    • Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire onboarding
    • Maintain employee personnel files and perform periodic audits on all documents to ensure proper storage and retention
    • Process employee terminations, including final pay and required documentation
    • Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate open enrollment
    • Serve as liaison with benefits providers and vendors
    • Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, COBRA, workers’ compensation, unemployment)
    • Assist in maintaining employee handbook policies and required acknowledgments
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
    • Support performance management documentation and corrective action processes
    • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information
    • Assist with process improvements related to HR operations
    • Support special projects as assigned
    • Participates in designated activities and projects for PCMH as assigned.
    • Assist with digital conversion and maintenance of HR files and forms.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

    · Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, recruitment, or related field

    · Experience in a dual-function or small to mid-sized organization preferred

    · Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices

    · Proficiency in HRIS platforms

    · Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

    · Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

    · Effective written and verbal communication skills

    ·       Ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities
