About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
Role Summary
As a Graphic Designer II, Quick Strike at Fanatics Collectibles, you will play a key role in developing high-quality visual designs across various trading card product lines. This is a fast-paced design role where flexibility and multi-tasking is key to support a portfolio of trading card products with an emphasis on speed to market. You will work closely with Art Directors, Designers, Product Managers and cross-functional teams to elevate the creative output while contributing to design direction, problem-solving, and workflow improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually compelling designs for trading card products
- Produce production-ready files with a deep understanding of print and digital specifications
- Provide creative solutions that enhance product differentiation and collector engagement
- Work cross-functionally with Art Directors, Designers, Product Development, Marketing and Project Management teams to ensure design excellence
- Present design ideas and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing innovative and trend-forward design concepts
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining design integrity.
- Balance short-term production needs with long-term creative innovation.
- Adapt quickly to project shifts, feedback, and fast-paced workflows.
- Stay current with sports, pop culture, collectibles, and industry trends to inform creative strategies
- Ensure all design assets maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating branding, typography, layout, and storytelling
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, typography, color theory, layout, and branding.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Basic understanding of print production, digital design principles, and brand identity development
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for sports, collectibles, and design
