Litigation Support Manager

We are currently seeking a Litigation Support Manager to lead a talented team and play a key role in delivering innovative, efficient, and defensible litigation support and eDiscovery services across the firm. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership in a role that directly supports attorneys, clients, and complex litigation matters.

This individual will bring strong eDiscovery experience, sound judgment, and a service-oriented leadership style that supports both team development and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the firm’s Litigation Support Team, including project assignments, staffing coordination, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
• Develop, maintain, and promote litigation support standards, protocols, workflows, and best practices to support efficient, secure, and defensible service delivery.
• Provide eDiscovery consultation and technical guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Partner with case teams to assess project needs, translate technical processes into clear guidance, and ensure high-quality litigation support services.
• Oversee eDiscovery workflows, including data management, searching, reporting, document production, trial support, and use of technology-assisted review tools.
• Monitor litigation support industry trends, technologies, pricing models, and vendor relationships to support effective service delivery and competitive solutions.
• Identify workflow deficiencies and implement process improvements that enhance service quality, efficiency, and client support.
• Support budgeting and technology planning for litigation support tools and firm technology needs in partnership with the Chief Information Officer.
• Develop and deliver educational programs, demonstrations, and training for attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals on litigation support technologies and services.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, and serve as a firm resource on their appropriate use in litigation.
• Perform billable litigation support work as needed, with an expectation of approximately 500–650 billable hours annually.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive eDiscovery/Litigation Support experience, including management experience, required.
• Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, litigation lifecycle, and defensible eDiscovery processes.
• Proficiency with litigation support and related technology platforms such as TrialDirector, CaseMap/TimeMap, Viewpoint, Relativity, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel within the firm’s footprint and work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
