        What you’ll do

        The senior accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial information; designing and ensuring

        appropriate accounting controls; developing procedures to update financial systems; and, preparing financial reports and

        statements.

        • Become a trusted expert shaping the Bank's derivatives and hedge accounting.
        • Make a visible impact on financial integrity, earnings stability, and risk management.
        • Help transform Accounting Operations by designing smarter processes, controls and reporting.
        • Expand your influence across the Bank by solving complex challenges with cross-functional partners.

        What you can expect

        • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
        • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
        • Prepare financial management reports
        • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
        • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
        • Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
        • Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process with internal and external auditors
        • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
        • Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
        • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
        • Ad Hoc reporting as needed
        • Other duties as assigned

        What you’ll bring

        • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
        • 2-5 years of experience
        • CPA and/or MBA (a plus)
        • Ability to deal with exceptional issues

        • Ability to manage projects
        • Shows initiative
        • Strong communicator with ability to work with all levels of the organization

        Salary Range:

        $75,325.00 - $125,500.00

        The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.  Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
