Job Summary:
The Welding Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of advanced welding systems and processes across manual, robotic, and collaborative robotic (cobot) manufacturing operations. This role serves as the technical authority for welding automation, programming, process control, metallurgy, weld quality, and production performance. The Welding Engineer works closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to develop robotic welding applications, integrate new technologies, troubleshoot complex welding challenges, and improve productivity while ensuring compliance with ASME and customer specifications.
This position plays a key role in advancing automation strategies through the implementation of robotic welding cells, cobot applications, and data-driven process improvements.
