    About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our Payments squad, where we design and build robust, scalable and secure platforms for payments, reconciliation and fiscal automation. You’ll work in highly demanding environments, where software quality, reliability and adaptability are essential, and where technical challenges are part of everyday work.

    Key responsibilities

    • Be part of a multidisciplinary squad, focused on high concurrency, testability, best practices and efficiency.
    • Design and develop robust and maintainable APIs for payment systems, reconciliation and fiscal process automation.
    • Participate actively in architectural decisions, helping to build scalable, resilient systems.
    • Implement high-concurrency workflows, with a strong focus on operational stability and traceability.
    • Integrate external services that handle critical business logic.
    • Contribute to test coverage, code reviews and controlled deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
    • Work with AWS services such as SQS, CloudWatch and Lambdas, managing events, queues and metrics effectively.
    • Collaborate closely with other technical teams using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, SonarCloud), following a results-oriented approach focused on quality and continuous improvement.

It would be a plus if you...

    • Experience working in payment systems or financial platforms.
    • Experience with event-driven architectures.
    • Familiarity with DevOps-oriented teams and cloud-native environments.
    • Experience working in high-traffic, real-time systems.

    Benefits & Perks

    • "Relación de dependencia" contract.
    • Osde 410 as medical insurance
    • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences
    • Home office friendly anywhere in Argentina
    • English Lessons
    • WellHub Membership
    • PedidosYa Plus
    • Opportunity to have a real impact in a high-growth global category leader
    • Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth
    • Great work environment with a young, international team of talented people to work with!
    • Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance (including Base, Variable, and Stock Options).

    About the process

Fever aims to provide the best and fastest possible experience to our candidates. This is how it would look like:

    • Talent Interview - 1h: An intro to Fever, our culture, and a conversation about your background and experience.
    • Technical Interview - 2h: A deep dive into your technical expertise through a system design discussion and a short coding exercise, giving you the chance to walk us through your reasoning and problem-solving approach — and ask us anything about your day-to-day at Fever.
    • Manager Interview - 1.5h: A conversation about how you communicate context and trade-offs, own outcomes, quantify impact, and think about reliability, scale, and system design decisions.
