CNC Router Set Up Tech Reports To: Router Lead Classification: Non-Exempt Safety Sensitive: Yes Job Type: Full Time Supervisory

Responsibilities:

No Night Shift Hours: Mon-Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am POSITION SUMMARY The CNC Set UP Tech is responsible for the correct set-up, operation and maintenance of our CNC routers. They will ensure setups are completed to run parts to customer specifications, verifying the quality of parts produced while working to reduce and eliminate scrap materials. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, precise measurements and passion for producing quality products that further the Fiber Pad mission of producing the highest quality products for their customers.

This role works under established guidelines and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Perform setups on CNC routers according to programs, make minor adjustments and edits to the programming, collaborating with the Programmers to update programs and resolve issues. · Assist operators with starting production runs, providing guidance and expertise to resolve issues. · Run and monitor 3 axis and 5 axis CNC routers with trim tooling fixtures and appropriate cutting tools based on the specifications of the project. · Read and interpret blueprints to recognize issues and verify accuracy and specifications. · Follow SOP’s for products and machinery. · Trains on quality standards to deliver quality products with focus on reducing errors and scrap. · Assists with training new operators, providing accurate demonstrations of how to perform tasks. · Collaborate with programming and engineering to resolve any issues, providing input into resolution of issues. · Adhere to safety protocols while working around materials and equipment. · Assist in all phases of housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized to help maintain a neat and tidy work area. · Perform other duties as needed or assigned by leadership.
