Notes:

• You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.
• The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a GIC Administrator, you play an important role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Guaranteed Investment Certificate transactions. You support operational excellence across settlements, servicing, and reconciliation activities while delivering exceptional service to clients, advisors, issuers, and internal partners.

Key Accountabilities

• Review and validate daily GIC order activity.
• Process GIC settlements and wire payments through CDS.
• Enter and maintain GIC purchase orders.
• Reconcile commissions and ensure timely distribution to clients and advisors.
• Process corrections, cancellations, entitlements, and maturity payments.
• Support GIC issuer onboarding and ongoing servicing activities.
• Resolve inquiries and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a brokerage or financial services environment.
• Direct experience supporting GIC products is considered an asset.

Education

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

The Expertise You Bring

• Foundational knowledge of Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and related functions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a broader team.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for finding better ways to work.

For this role, your total rewards include:

•             Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $45,000 to $60,000, based on experience and qualifications.

•             RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
