Accounting Specialist

Job Description

With the aim of strengthening our Team in Germany, we are recruiting a
Accounting Specialist (f/m/x).

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable activities and support Accounts Receivable processes

• Perform pre-accounting checks of invoices and manage the invoice approval workflow in SAP Business One (SAP B1)

• Oversee and manage stock accounting in close collaboration with Customer Service & Supply Chain teams

• Process and reconcile bank accounting transactions

• Provide first-level support for SAP Business One, including technical administration and coordination with external SAP consultants

• Act as Finance key user and project lead for accounting-related activities within the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation project

• Prepare, structure, account for, and report accruals and prepaid expenses

• Create accounting reports, analyses, reconciliations, and financial overviews to support decision-making

• Contribute to the optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Previous experience in accounting, finance operations, or bookkeeping is preferred

• Practical experience with SAP Business One is required, experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred

• Participation in an SAP S/4HANA implementation is considered a strong advantage

• Strong affinity for IT systems, digital tools, and process optimization

• Highly process-oriented, structured, and detail-focused working style

• Proactive mindset with a genuine willingness to learn, as well as solution-oriented approach

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
