Area Manager

Job Description

With the aim of strengthening our Team in Germany, we are recruiting an

Area manager (f/m/x).

Main responsibilities:

• Drive regional sales performance and achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Sales Representatives through regular field visits, feedback, and performance management

• Translate national strategies into effective regional sales and customer engagement plans

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and key stakeholders, with a strong focus on orthopedics

• Identify market opportunities through customer, competitor, and market analysis

• Ensure effective territory management, resource allocation, and execution of marketing initiatives

• Leverage CRM and digital tools to monitor performance and improve field force effectiveness

• Foster a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in a people management role within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry

• Strong sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device sector; experience with orthopedists and an existing network are a plus

• Strong customer orientation combined with a results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team

• High level of discipline, self-motivation, resilience, and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment

• Ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks and translate insights into effective actions

• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory (approximately 80% field-based work); a valid driver's license is required

• Proficiency in CRM systems and digital sales tools

• Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
