Credit Union Core Conversion Project Manager | XP2 to Corelation Keystone

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major credit union core conversion from Fiserv XP2 to Corelation Keystone for an established Dallas area credit union.  Hybrid schedule with 2 to 3 days per week in the Dallas office and the remainder working from home

This is not a general IT Project Manager position. We are specifically looking for someone with experience managing complex technology implementations within a credit union, bank or other financial institution. Prior core conversion experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience with XP2, Corelation Keystone or another major financial institution core platform.

This individual will take ownership of the conversion project from planning through implementation and stabilization, coordinating internal departments, technology teams, Corelation and third party vendors to keep the project organized, on schedule and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the overall core conversion project plan

• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables and risks

• Coordinate internal departments, technology teams, Corelation and third party vendors

• Serve as a primary point of coordination throughout the conversion

• Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are assigned, tracked and completed

• Provide clear project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders

• Coordinate activities involving data conversion, interfaces, integrations, testing and user acceptance testing

• Manage mock conversions, implementation readiness and go live planning

• Coordinate cutover activities and post conversion stabilization

• Identify potential roadblocks, resource needs and project risks early and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them

• Maintain project documentation, decisions, approvals and deliverables throughout the conversion

What We Are Looking For

• Project management experience within a credit union, bank or financial institution strongly preferred

• Proven experience managing a core conversion or major financial technology implementation

• Experience coordinating multiple departments, technical teams and project workstreams

• Strong vendor management experience

• Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, operations teams and technical resources

• Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills

• Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks and competing priorities

• Fiserv XP2 and/or Corelation Keystone experience is a significant plus

• Credit union core conversion experience will receive strong consideration

Ideal Background

The strongest candidate will understand that a core conversion touches virtually every area of a financial institution and will be comfortable coordinating across operations, lending, accounting, member service, technology and outside vendors.
