Fincantieri Marine Systems North America has an immediate hiring need for a Maintenance Technician in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 1st shift role, Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 3:00PM. Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician supports the safe, efficient operation of company facilities, vehicles and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care. This role requires a hands-on professional with mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the flexibility to support a variety of maintenance needs. Domestic travel may be required.
Essential Functions
Perform general facilities maintenance, including basic plumbing/piping, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections Complete preventative maintenance on facilities, vehicles, and equipment to minimize downtime Troubleshoot mechanical and maintenance issues and coordinate repairs as needed
