Office Manager

As Office Manager for our primary care department - responsibilities  will include:

• Managing appointment access and availability- Ensuring all providers operate at maximum capacity, including their no-show rate.
• Providing excellent customer service with phones always answered and patients given the earliest opportunity to see the appropriate specialist.
• Ensuring patient requests for refills are answered and handled appropriately.
• Creating referral lists from the primary care doctors to identify patients that need to see a specialist.
• Ensuring that all no-shows as well as referrals are called and appointed.
• Assisting with educating the physician in which insurance companies will compensate properly for various procedures.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Coordinate patient flow and access to providers

• Previous experience as an Office Manager with a Community Medical Center or similar healthcare organization.
• Experience working with Medical  Providers
• Bilingual a plus.
• Electronic Health Records Use
