Onsite Truck Switcher/Heavy Equipment Operator (Martinsville, VA)

First Piedmont Corporation, a Regional Waste Removal and Disposal employer, is hiring a Truck Switcher/ Heavy Equipment Operator at our Martinsville Transfer Station.

General Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Spot and maneuver trucks, trailers, or containers inside the facility yard to prepare them for loading, unloading, or transport
• Prepping the trailers for hauling by tarping and un-tarping them
• Conduct daily equipment checks, ensure safe vehicle operations, and report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Backup loader operator- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with FPC's safety policies and procedures to load waste into trailers

Day Shift

Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
