FirstHealth of the Carolinas—a private, not-for-profit healthcare network recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as a Top 150 Place to Work (three consecutive years)—is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage at our Convenient Care Clinic in Pinehurst.
Responsibilities
- Dependable work hours and great work-life balance –three 12-hour shifts per week (includes some weekends and holidays).
- Our Pinecroft location is open 7 days/week from 8am – 8pm, with the exception of 4 recognized holidays.
- Imaging and diagnostic testing on-site.

Qualifications
- Solo provider setting. Must be comfortable practicing autonomously with minimal oversight from the supervising physician.
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
- Minimum 2 years of APP experience required.
- Must have a clean background, NC licensure, and NC DEA.
- AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
