Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards of nursing practice.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately in accordance with hospital policies and standards of nursing practice
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure effective care coordination.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and ongoing care needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid NC RN license or Compact State RN license required
- BCLS required
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
