Senior Product Manager

FirstWork is a forward-deployed applied-AI company for frontline hiring, the largest and most heavily regulated labour market in the world. One platform carries a worker from application through onboarding, compliance verification, training and payroll, for enterprise customers across 40+ countries and a dozen-plus languages. Our AI agents run that work rather than assisting someone who still does it: document agents validate credentials against policy, browsing agents operate government portals that have no API, and voice agents screen and follow up with candidates.

The scale is live, at roughly 50,000 new applicants a week and 2.5 million API requests a day. We bill on usage, per document validated and per agent action executed, so throughput and cost show up directly in revenue. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a product line, the platform primitives beneath it, and the AI capabilities that run on top. ## **What you'll do** - Own the strategy, roadmap and commercial shape for a product line or platform portfolio. - Integrate LLMs and agentic AI deeper into the product architecture. - Innovate and enhance product capabilities, from new feature development to improving the maturity, accuracy and performance of existing features. - Build new product lines from zero, taking a validated use case to a general, multi-tenant product. - Decide which capabilities are assistive and which are autonomous, and set the evidence standard each must meet before acting without human review. - Draw the boundary between deterministic, auditable rules and model-based judgement. - Decide what becomes a shared platform primitive, what stays customer configuration, and what we decline to build. - Own accuracy and evaluation infrastructure across the portfolio, including regression detection during scale-up. - Own packaging, pricing and unit economics, including model cost and margin. - Own the audit, evidence and explainability layer that operators and auditors depend on. - Hire and coach product managers, and set the standard for specifications, decision records and design review. - Represent the product in enterprise procurement, security review and AI governance discussions. ## **What we look for** - 8+ years of product management experience, including senior ownership of a platform or multi-product portfolio in B2B or enterprise software. - Experience platformising a complex workflow product: extracting primitives, exposing them as configuration, and moving a second segment or vertical onto them without forking. - Production experience with LLM or agentic systems, including ownership of accuracy, cost, latency, fallback design and autonomy decisions. - A track record of both zero-to-one launches and scaling an established line past its first plateau. - Strong technical judgement across data models, decision logic, throughput and agent architecture.

This is not a functional product role. - Commercial fluency across pricing, packaging, margin and cost to serve. - Experience in a regulated domain, with judgement on when to be conservative and when to escalate to legal. - Experience developing product managers, as a manager or as a senior individual contributor. - Influence through writing and demonstrated results rather than authority. ## **Bonus** - Agentic systems where an agent takes real action in an external system. - HR tech, workforce management, staffing, identity, payroll or financial infrastructure. - Multi-region product work with regulatory variation as a design problem. - Usage-based pricing design, including migration away from seat-based models. - Experience at a forward-deployed or implementation-led company that became a product company. - First product leader at a company, building the function from scratch. - Experience working in AI-first or fast-moving product teams.
