Learn to master the following tasks in a 3.5-year training program (shortening possible):
- Process metals and plastics with lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines
- Manufacture punching tools as well as replacement and wear parts according to drawing specifications
- Operate computer-controlled machine tools
- Commission production tools in the manufacturing plant
- Identify causes of malfunctions and eliminate them independently
- Get involved in internal and external projects together with other trainees, e.g., as a trainee ambassador, at trade fairs, or in business simulation games
- Attend vocational school in Idar-Oberstein (BBS Harald-Fissler-Schule) once or twice a week
