What you will be doing
Construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials.
- Constructs or repairs materials ensuring compliance with construction specifications.
- Measures, cuts, and shapes wood, plastic, and other materials as directed.
- Erects, levels, repairs and installs framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes as needed.
- Performs minor maintenance and cleaning on tools and equipment
- Perform daily inspection of tools or equipment they operate to ensure they are safe prior to utilization.
- Places, stabilizes and levels forms.
- Drill and install dowel bars. Requires use of air drills and air powered epoxy machine.
- Perform joint layout and install dowel bar baskets. Requires use of powder actuated hand tools.
- Assists with concrete placements including vibrating and curing.
- Install and tie wire mesh rebar.
- Drive pins and set wireline to grade.
- Clean up before and after pours
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
What we are looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with hand tools, including squares, levels, and chisels, as well as many power tools, such as sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines.
- Prior concrete paving experience preferred
