Firearms Specialist

Fleet Farm is looking for a Firearms Specialist with the passion, product knowledge, and Midwest GRIT to help our customers get ready for their next adventure.

You’ll be the Team Member customers count on for firearms, ammunition, hunting gear, and knowledgeable service—helping them find what they need and get the job done right.

What You'll Do

• Be the go-to Team Member for firearms, ammunition, hunting gear, and related products.

• Connect with customers, understand what they need, and help them find the right products.

• Share your knowledge of firearms, product functionality, and safe handling.

• Help customers gear up for the hunt and their next outdoor adventure.

• Complete required paperwork and follow all firearm sales, safety, and legal requirements.

• Help customers with product questions, special orders, and finding merchandise.

• Keep the department stocked, organized, and ready for customers.

• Assist with merchandise displays, inventory, returns, and service needs.

• Help customers with sporting electronics, including GPS units and fish finders.

• Promote Fleet Farm programs, including our MVP Loyalty Program and Fleet Farm Credit Card.

• Work alongside fellow Team Members to build customer relationships and deliver the Fleet Farm experience our customers count on.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for firearms, hunting, and the outdoors.

• Strong knowledge of firearms and related products.

• Enjoy helping customers and sharing your product knowledge.

• Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated.

• Previous firearm sales or related experience preferred.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Important Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must be legally eligible to possess a firearm under applicable federal law.

• Must pass a required background check.

• Must complete required firearms sales and safety training.

• Must follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws and Fleet Farm policies.
