    Job description

    Job Summary As a Warehouse Supervisor at Farmer’s Depot, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in leading the store’s day-to-day operations while also managing the warehouse team. You will play an important role in the support and development of front-line and warehouse team members, completion of daily paperwork, vendor relations, Ordering, inventory and overseeing store and warehouse organization and cleanliness to help ensure the store is in position to succeed in its mission.

    Key Expectations:

    • Customer Interaction: Continuously set the example as well as lead all Team Members in providing excellent customer service. As store management, they will also be responsible for handling customer complaints when the GM is not available.
    • Cleanliness: Cleanliness, organization, and well-stocked merchandise are critical to the store’s success, and the Management Team is responsible for ensuring the brand standards are being met in all aspects of the store.
    • Cultural Development: Focused on the continual development of each Team Member. You will work in conjunction with the GM to implement training programs and be expected to model Core Values to all other personnel.
    • Vendor Relations: Responsible for helping ensure that our inventory, ordering and organization is completed and submitted accurately, assisting with vendor check-in, and overseeing invoice management as needed.

    • Promotes the highest quality, most delightful experience for every guest.
    • Contributes to the team with a positive attitude and ownership mentality.
    • Helps maintain a clean and tidy store/warehouse.
    • Help’s managing the stocking, organizing and merchandising of product.
    • Serves as a first responder to customer complaints.
    • Promotes the highest level of cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the store.
    • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, co-workers, etc.
    • Ensures security of company assets.
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Experience in retail, specifically agricultural retail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
    • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
    • Able to function in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Honest & Dependable.
    • Must love people!
