    Job description

    This position is located in Vietnam

      Key Responsibilities

      Quality Leadership

      • Develop and execute the company's global quality strategy aligned with business and sourcing objectives.
      • Establish and monitor quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
      • Foster a culture focused on defect prevention, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
      • Lead, mentor, and develop regional QA teams to ensure consistent quality standards across global sourcing locations.

      Quality Management Systems

      • Develop, implement, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, SOPs, inspection standards, and governance.
      • Standardize quality processes across product categories.
      • Ensure consistent inspection, audit, documentation, and reporting practices.
      • Deliver quality training for internal teams and suppliers.

      Supplier Quality

      • Lead supplier qualification, audits, and ongoing quality assessments.
      • Drive supplier performance through scorecards, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
      • Partner with suppliers to strengthen manufacturing controls, inspection processes, and workforce capabilities.

      Product Quality & Compliance

      • Lead quality planning during New Product Introduction (NPI).
      • Support product validation, FMEA, testing, and regulatory compliance activities.
      • Ensure products meet all quality, safety, durability, functionality, and regulatory requirements before production.

      Continuous Improvement

      • Analyze warranty, defect, and supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
      • Lead root cause investigations and verify corrective actions.
      • Implement best practices and improve quality processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design & Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
      • 10+ years of quality management experience within the furniture industry, including both manufacturing and sourcing environments.
      • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing QA teams and supplier quality programs.
      • Strong expertise in motion upholstery manufacturing is preferred.
      • Proven experience implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and supplier quality programs.
      • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including:
        • FMEA
        • CAPA
        • AQL Sampling
        • Root Cause Analysis
        • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
        • Supplier Auditing
        • Lean Manufacturing
        • Six Sigma (preferred)
      • Solid understanding of furniture construction, materials, finishing processes, product testing, and regulatory compliance.
      • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

      Travel - Approximately 50% domestic and international travel to supplier and manufacturing locations.
