Human Resources Intern

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Human Resources Intern supports the HR team in delivering timely, accurate, and people-focused HR service across the organization. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, communications, learning and compliance tracking, employee engagement activities, and HR project work.

Key deliverables at the end of this internship include a demonstrated understanding of core HR processes, experience supporting recruiting and onboarding activity, and the ability to communicate HR information clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support recruiting activities, including job posting coordination, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking follow-up.
• Assist with onboarding activities by preparing materials, coordinating first-day details, supporting new hire communication, and helping ensure a positive associate experience.
• Help maintain accurate HR data and documentation in systems and shared files.
• Support learning, compliance, and LMS activities.
• Assist with HR communications for email, intranet, monitor displays, and other internal channels to help keep associates informed and connected.
• Conduct research, organize information, and prepare summaries or presentation materials to support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for HR activities.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (must be completed with second year).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
