The Environmental Engineer will ensure environmental compliance and sustainable plant operations by monitoring environmental performance, managing regulatory requirements, and driving initiatives to minimize environmental impact. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant environmental performance (water, wastewater, emissions, waste) 
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company standards 
• Conduct environmental assessments, audits, and reporting activities 
• Analyze environmental data and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities 
• Support implementation of environmental management systems and procedures 
• Coordinate with operations, laboratory, and QHSE teams to ensure compliance and performance 
• Manage environmental documentation, reporting, and regulatory submissions 
• Support investigations of environmental incidents and implement corrective actions 
• Lead or support sustainability and resource optimization initiatives 
• Participate in environmental impact assessments and process improvements 

Skills & Experience Required: 

• Environmental Expertise – Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field 
• Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of environmental laws and compliance requirements 
• Analytical Capability – Ability to analyze environmental data and assess impacts 
• Industrial Experience – Experience in process industries (water treatment – strong advantage) 
• Stakeholder Management – Ability to work with operations, regulators, and internal teams
