The Laboratory Manager will lead and manage laboratory operations to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely analytical results that support plant performance, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely testing and reporting
- Manage laboratory staff, ensuring performance, training, and adherence to procedures
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Monitor and validate analytical results to support operational and regulatory needs
- Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, testing protocols, and documentation
- Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to align testing priorities with plant needs
- Manage laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and maintenance activities
- Analyze trends in laboratory data to support process optimization and issue resolution
- Prepare and present reports on laboratory performance, quality metrics, and compliance
Skills & Experience Required:
- Technical Expertise – Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Laboratory Management – Experience in managing lab operations in industrial/environmental settings
- Quality & Compliance Knowledge – Familiarity with laboratory standards and regulatory frameworks
- Analytical Capability – Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
