The Logistics & Purchasing Manager will lead procurement and logistics activities to ensure efficient supply of materials and services, optimize costs, and support uninterrupted plant operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management
- Ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials, equipment, and services
- Oversee logistics operations, including shipping, warehousing, and inventory management
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to balance availability and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate closely with operations, maintenance, and finance to align supply with operational needs
- Track procurement and logistics KPIs (cost, lead time, service level) and drive improvements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and efficiency gains
