.NET Developer (ASP.NET / C# ) - £40k - 65k – Thame, Oxfordshire

The Company:
Focus IT has the pleasure of working with this rapidly expanding software company developing innovative new products for the property and legal services sectors.

The role:
The client is seeking a.NET Developer with good exposure to ASP.NET , C# and MVC to compliment their existing team.

Due to continued planned expansion they are now seeking to employ a talented individual to work within a busy and stimulating Software development department. The role will involve working on the full software development lifecycle from initial inception through to completion. You will be involved in ASP.NET using C#.

The Candidate:
The successful candidates will have minimum 2 years experience in the .NET Framework especially within ASP.NET, C#, Web Forms, MVC and SQL Server.

They are looking for a developer with the following skills:

Good knowledge of .NET Framework (C#)
Good knowledge creating web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms. MVC experience useful but not essential
Good knowledge of SQL Server including some knowledge of query optimisation/tuning
Knowledge of JavaScript and client-side development technologies as befits their role
Good knowledge of secure development techniques, potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
Good fault finding skills and the ability to resolve issues
Good understanding of object oriented design and development
Awareness of design patterns and SOLID design principles
Showing initiative

Essentially looking for a solid .NET Developer to come and work on their existing products and help develop new greenfield projects. Preference would be for someone who is keen on the Web / UI side of things but development will cover many technologies – ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC, WCF Web Services, Windows Services, SQL, Redis being just some.

This is a .NET Developer position but can also be known as an C# Developer, Senior Developer, Lead Developer, ASP.NET Programmer, C# Developer, .NET Programmer, C#.NET Programmer, Software Architect, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Analyst Programmer, C# Programmer, .NET Developer, .NET Consultant, Web Developer or Web Application Programmer.
