    About the role

Forvis Mazars LLP is seeking a driven, commercially minded EMEA Financial Modelling Training Business Development Assistant Manager to accelerate the growth of our Energy, Infrastructure & Environment training offering. This role focuses on sales, client relationship management, and strategic business development, with a mandate to build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients for our project finance modelling training courses and wider business unit.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Acquisition & Retention — Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships across the EMEA region while nurturing existing accounts. Achieve monthly sales and activity targets.

    • Sales & Pipeline Management — Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, manage opportunities, and maintain a healthy, forward‑looking pipeline.

    • Customised Training Solutions — Work with technical trainers to design tailored programmes that address client‑specific needs. Support the delivery of business development initiatives such as lunch‑and‑learns, webinars, roundtables, and sessions on topics including AI in modelling, sector trends, and emerging modelling challenges.

    • Market & Competitor Analysis — Monitor regional market activity to identify new opportunities. Use insights from client conversations, competitor offerings, and training feedback to shape new course ideas and commercial strategies.

    • Client Relationship Building — Represent Forvis Mazars at roadshows, conferences, industry events, and networking forums to expand market presence and build long‑term relationships.

    • Feedback & Continuous Improvement — Lead post‑training review meetings, capturing insights to enhance course quality and client satisfaction.

    • Cross‑Selling & Service Integration — Leverage training relationships to introduce clients to complementary Forvis Mazars services, including financial model build, model audit, valuations, and advisory.

    • Internal Collaboration — Partner with internal teams to align BD strategy with firmwide objectives. Develop structured account plans and targeted BD campaigns for priority clients, sectors, and geographies.

    • Reporting & Documentation — Provide regular updates to senior management on BD activity, market trends, client feedback, and pipeline performance.

    What we are looking for

    • Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within a professional services environment.

    • Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

    • Ability to travel across the EMEA region and manage a diverse, multi‑country client portfolio.

    • Fluency in English; additional European languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.) are advantageous but not essential.
