About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced landscaper with a background in planting and softscape to join our growing team. This role sits within our landscape construction division, with a focus on planting and horticulture. We are looking for someone who takes pride in high‑quality craftsmanship, has a solid foundation in planting and landscape installation, and enjoys creating beautiful, long‑lasting outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, grass, and container stock according to horticulture best practices
• Soil preparation, amending, and grading to support long‑term plant health
• Proper planting techniques including spacing, staking, mulching, and root care
• Assisting with irrigation installation and basic troubleshooting as it relates to plant material
• Fine grading, garden bed shaping, and site detailing to achieve a clean, finished look
• Ongoing collaboration with hardscape crews to ensure seamless project integration
• General site duties including material handling, trenching, and maintaining a tidy and organized worksite
• Safe operation of mobile equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators (training provided)

May also assist periodically with:

• Retaining walls, paving, pathways, and other hardscape features as required by project scope

What You Bring

• Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or landscape construction required
• Strong understanding of planting best practices
• Physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors year‑round
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Pride in workmanship and strong attention to detail
• Two recent work references required (from the last two roles; references will be checked)
