Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking Interior Installers at all experience levels — from candidates ready to learn, to experienced assemblers who can own the most complex custom interior configurations on the floor. The interior of every Frazer ambulance — every cabinet, panel, action wall, and AC unit — is built by this team. The work you do here goes out the door and into communities that depend on first responders every day.
What Does a Week in the Life of an Interior Installer Look Like?
Starts the shift by pulling up the work order on the Chromebook, reviewing the installation prints, and confirming all parts and materials are staged before the first tool comes out.
Rotates through Furnish, Interior Options, Action Wall, and AC work centers — measuring and cutting materials to spec, installing components in the right location, and moving production forward.
Uses drills, saws, spray guns, orbital sanders, and hand tools — selecting the right tool for each task, using it correctly, and keeping it in good condition.
Double-checks every installation against the work order before signing off — verifying fit, finish, and fastener integrity before the module moves to the next station.
Keeps the workstation clean and 6S-compliant throughout the shift — not just at shift end.
Completes tasks within established time goals without sacrificing accuracy — because a rushed install that needs rework costs more time than doing it right the first time.
At higher levels: troubleshoots fit issues and BOM discrepancies, mentors newer installers, and serves as the team's go-to resource when the build gets complex or non-standard.

Pay ranges based on Salary.com market data for Houston, TX — Durable Manufacturing, $50M-$200M. Starting rate depends on experience and Frazer assessment results.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and Frazer installation assessment.
Experience with hand and power tools — drills, saws, sanders, ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers.
Ability to read basic installation prints and follow written work instructions.
Comfortable standing, climbing, crouching, and working in confined spaces in an unairconditioned shop environment.
Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred but not required:
2+ years of mechanical or assembly experience in a production environment.
Experience with specialty vehicle interiors, modular furniture, custom cabinetry, or ambulance upfit.
Experience with spray guns, orbital sanders, or surface finishing techniques.
